Make Sure to Experience One of Tyler's Top Italian Dining Spots!

I have to confess, I didn't anticipate this small location in a strip mall in Gresham to be quite as impressive as it turned out to be.

I adore running across these surprise local hot spots in East Texas. I love it, especially when it turns out to be as "delizioso" as Bella Italian Cafe in Flint, just south of Tyler on Old Jacksonville Highway. I  find it very welcoming, and the bread they bring out to you is almost worth the trip.

They've put together an amazing menu that features all your favorite Italian classics, ranging from Pizza and Lasagna to more daring choices such as Shrimp Cognac and Calamari.

Everything we tried at this restaurant was absolutely tasty, even the salads!

I always order a Caesar salad at Italian restaurants, and most of the time, it's fine. But this one at Bella was really quite good. I actually smiled because it was one of the best I'd had in a while. They also offer Subs if you want to pop in for a sandwich for lunch and a variety of desserts, from cheesecake to tiramisu. During my latest trip, I decided to try the Frutti de Mare, a delightful dish featuring sautéed shrimp, scallops, and clams cooked with garlic and basil, all served atop a bed of linguine. It was absolutely delicious—definitely deserving of two thumbs up! I’ll be ordering it again for sure. I've also come across fantastic reviews for the Baked Ziti and Lobster Ravioli. Every dish I've tried has met my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
